West Cumbria Mining

Back in 2021 we looked into the companies involved in developing the proposed coal mine in West Cumbria and highlighted concerns, including: “The current owner may sell their interest in the mine quickly, and future owners may renegade on any promises made.” Now with the mining licence denied the company involved is suing the UK in an international arbitration tribunal. Trinava Consulting director, Vivek Kotecha, was interviewed for the story given our research into the companies.
